Equipment designed for operation with SF6 gas
The VK oil-free vacuum compressor is designed for SF6 gas, therefore it works without the aid of oil, thus pollution of the SF6 gas can be avoided.
When the pressure in cell approaches atmospheric pressure, the vacuum compressor is switched on. It pumps SF6 gas out of the cell and feeds it to the compressor for further injection into cylinders. The vacuum compressor works in tandem with the compressor.
The vacuum compressor allows pumping out gas to an absolute pressure of Pa less than 1 mbar.
